Just In Time: Common Disabilities and Accommodations at SCC (copy) (copy)

Description: This session will be an overview of the most common disabilities students report here at SCC, the most common accommodations associated with those disabilities, and how to implement these approved accommodations. We will discuss disabilities such as ADHD, learning disabilities, and psychological disorders as well as how instructors can support students with the approved accommodations that address the barriers created by such disabilities. If you are unable to attend the session at this time please go ahead and register! This means you will find a recording of the session in the calendar invite once the session is complete.

• Participants will recognize common disabilities
• Participants will recognize common accommodations associated with those disabilities
• Participants will identify and discuss ways to implement approved accommodations associated with those disabilities.
