Let's Talk Honors...
Completion requirements
Facilitator: Bethany Emory - Dean of Teaching and Learning Support
So.... You or or one of your students is thinking about an Honors Project Whether this is your first project, or the first in a while.... join us for a discussion of the ins and out of developing and submitting your proposal. We will discuss setting goals, typical learning products, and components of the mentor relationship. We will also go over updates to the application process requested by the Honor Guard last year. Probably more importantly you will have a chance to discuss examples of how mentors and students can go above and beyond expectations of the course by extending the learning objectives/outcomes. We will also be sure you are aware of all of the resources to assist as you take on the mentor role for your student(s).
