Welcome to Moodle! This course will introduce you to many of the common tasks that instructors will use to support their classes. This course will also introduce you to many of the activities in Moodle that are helpful in engaging students. These activities include discussion forums, assignments, and the other tools.

Learning Objectives:

  • Perform basic navigation functions in Moodle
  • Add content (like your syllabus or other Web Links)
  • Setup a Simple Grade Center (that will communicate with other software on campus)
  • Add an Announcement or Discussion Board to communicate with your students
  • Identify uses for the discussion forum and assignment activities
  • Add an activity to a Moodle course
  • Assign appropriate settings to support learner needs
