This TOPS is an introduction into the concepts of what Resiliency is and how to build this in our students. I want to provide practical skills and tools that you can teach and use with students when they are struggling with anxiety, stress and lack of focus. These tools work in the moment but also as preventative tools that you can teach students to cope as life struggles occur.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the concepts around ACES and how that impacts the brain and daily functioning.
  • Learn 7 practical tools and techniques to calm anxiety and reactionary responses.
