Locating and Sharing Resources through Watermark\Aviso

by Matt Litchford - Thursday, July 31, 2025, 9:49 AM

Juggling all of the resources available to assist students can be challenging for advisers and overwhelming to students.  Aviso \ Watermark offers two options to make this process a bit more efficient and effective:

  • The Links Area in student files allows quick access to commonly used resources here at SCC

  • The Share Resources icon allows advisers to send this information directly to students

Step 1

To access links:

Locate a student by selecting them from your caseload or searching for them in the Everyone search.

Access the links from the lower right corner of the student profile screen. (All links are set to open in a separate page.)

Step 2

When working with students, it is often helpful to send this information to them using email.  To share a resource:

Locate a student by selecting them from your caseload or searching for them in the Everyone search.

Click the "Share Resource" icon located directly above the student's name

Step 3

In the pop up box, select the appropriate resource from the list (note that we have included some additional resources as well)

Once selected, you have the option to add comments to the message, then click Save to send the link to the student'e SCC email account.
