    • This course is designed to introduce faculty to the concept of accessibility as it relates to course materials in Moodle. It covers the basics of accessibility in that context and answers questions such as, "What is accessibility?" and "How do I make my materials accessible in Moodle?"

      This course also explains the accessibility expectations of the following levels of online and hybrid course quality and give suggestions for how to meet the expectations of each level:

      • Accessibility Review for Online and Hybrid Courses (required for online and hybrid courses)
      • Distinguished Course Accessibility (only for those going through the SCC Distinguished Course process)
      • Exemplary Course Accessibility (only for those going through the SCC Exemplary Quality Matters Course process)

      If you are new to the concept of accessibility, please start in the "What is Accessibility? And Other FAQs" section (accessed in the menu at left). 

      If you are looking for resources specific to the category you have chosen for the Accessibility Review required for online and hybrid courses, please click on the links in the left menu to access the specific options ("Option 1: Moodle Content," "Option 2: Accessible Word and PDF Documents," etc.). Please also review the Accessibility Review Checklist as well as the Accessibility Review FAQs.
